The authentic Tasmanian Devil casting and trolling lure was designed in Tasmania back in the 70's, and is still going strong. Made in Australia, this natural fish catcher, uses the internal weight and shape to drive fish crazy. The “Tassie” that was introduced in 1979 is now still available in the most popular 13.5 gram model, as well as 7g, 20g and 26g versions.
Tassie's have become popular for pink salmon in our local rivers and estuaries. The darting, side to side action makes the virtually unresistable.
But don't stop there! Tassie's also work as a trolling lure, either by themselves, weighted, or on a downrigger.
