Returns
We make every effort to ensure that you are happy with your purchase from Fred’s Custom Tackle. However, for whatever reason, things do happen.
Please take a moment to review the following key points regarding returning an item you’ve received before filling out the Return Request Form. Once we've received your request, a member of our Web Store Team will be in contact with you to make arrangements - usually the next business day (sometimes even on weekends and holidays).

Items being returned must be in new, resalable condition, and in the original packaging. Items showing wear and tear, or that have obvious use are not eligible for return. This includes tags still attached, undamaged packaging, and, where applicable, clean rod cork with plastic wrap still intact.

Refunds for the value of the product(s) plus applicable taxes are available if returned within 30 days of purchase. Shipping costs from the original order are not included in the refund.

Store credit will be applied if returned within 60 days of purchase.

Refunds will be processed upon receipt of the item(s).

Pre-paid return shipping labels will be provided only where there has been a mistake in shipping or you’ve received a defective product.

Items that do not fit or meet expectations (issues not due to fault of the product) are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

Items that are marked Clearance or Final Sale or are not eligible for return.
- Special Order items are not eligible for return.
- Please keep a copy of all receipts and orders. We do require proof of purchase (receipt, email order confirmation, or packing list) in order to process your return or exchange, especially if you checked out online as a guest. In all circumstances, purchases made in-store without an account will require a physical receipt in order for us to process your return or exchange.
- COD returns will not be accepted.

Returns can be made in-person at any Fred's Custom Tackle store (must have original proof of purchase), or by sending it to:
