1ST ANNUAL FRED'S FALL CHINOOK DERBY

Heaviest Chinook Wins!
This inaugural one day derby on the Chilliwack/Vedder River generates proceeds which are donated to the Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition. The FVWC further raises funds from various government agencies so habitat restoration projects can take place on the Chilliwack/Vedder River watershed.
​Registration closes Friday September 13th, 2024, with all weigh-ins occuring on Saturday September 14th between 7:30AM and 3PM.
Prizes include:
- First Place: FCT Pro Series Baitcasting Rod + Daiwa Tatula 300 Reel + Gear package
- Second Place: Korkers River Ops Wading Boots
- Third Place: FCT Pro Series 8'6" Spinning Rod + Daiwa Legalis LT 3000 Reel
Many other hidden weight prizes as well!
Rules:
- Angler must follow all fishing regulations >> https://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/rec/fresh-douce/region2-eng.html
- Chinook must be caught from the Vedder/Chilliwack River
- Fish must be gutted after being weighed in
- Weigh-ins occur at the Fred's Custom Tackle Chilliwack location between 7:30AM and 3PM
